So I really feel like I’m where I’m supposed to be- this could be because I’m in a posh hotel sipping a Cosmo…or it could be because I FINALLY am in a place where I feel like everything is coming together.
After my French fiasco (involving a very close brush with homelessness) I am safely deposited at the Capital Hotel. The Capital is literally a stone’s throw from Harrods, which is convenient but also very dangerous. My wallet is now severely lighter and my bags somewhat heavier.
My morning breakfast- so quaint!
After traipsing about Knightsbridge and Chelsea for the afternoon, I had an AMAZING tea- replete with sandwiches, scones and other assorted sweetness- with my new friend Hannah, who I’m mildly obsessed with. During our tea, I received a call letting me know I got a job…at Harrods.
Every room in my house will have this wallpaper.
Later in the afternoon, I received an email calling me back for a second interview with LivingSocial.
All in all, it’s been a very successful week here in London:
Two job interviews (Harrods and LivingSocial)
A new job (Harrods!)
A nice hotel to rest my head AND (as if that weren’t enough)
